Job summary

University of New Hampshire is seeking a Program Manager to support NH Listens and the Center for Engaged Communities in designing, supporting, and co-leading community engagement projects across New Hampshire. The role reports to the Director and collaborates with the Assistant Director, within a highly team-oriented leadership structure.

The position is highly relational and involves travel, with responsibilities spanning project design, implementation, and evaluation, including grant-funded

Qualifications

• Ability to design, conduct, and evaluate independent research and innovative community development projects.
• Significant experience facilitating large and small groups.
• Experience authoring and managing grants.
• Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, design, schedule, implement, and evaluate community development initiatives.
• Conduct literature reviews and project-related research.
• Identify and outreach to diverse community populations for projects.
• Hire, train, and supervise staff needed for project implementation.
• Prepare reports, grant proposals, and related written materials.
