Qualifications

• Professional or volunteer experience in administering educational or community-based youth development programs.
• Effective human relations and communication skills.
• Computer skills.
• Ability to reflect thoughtfully on personal bias to be welcoming to all participants and volunteers.
• Availability to work nights and weekends.
• Valid N.H. driver's license or other means of transportation.
• Mileage reimbursed at current federal rate.

Responsibilities

• Volunteer Development and Support: work with 42 volunteers across 18 clubs and 95 families.
• Manage volunteers involved in the Cheshire County Fair.
• Recruit, train, guide, and support new volunteers to meet program outcomes and risk management.
• Ensure education programs comply with civil rights, EEO, AA and ADA policies.
• Pathway Development: plan and coordinate county activities and Cheshire County Fair.
• Coordinate follow-up experiences for youth and families along 4-H pathways.
• Collaborate with 4-H field specialists on pathway development and evaluation.
• State Team Support: participate in statewide planning of events and activities.
• Pathways include STEM/agriscience, outdoor education, civic engagement, and healthy living.
• Program Support: engage Advisory Council, legislators, and staff in projects.
• Program Reporting: track enrollment, collect evaluation data, monitor finances.
• Professional Development: set goals with supervisor and pursue training.
