Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Commercial Pool Building Foreman to lead field crews on commercial pool and aquatic facility projects. This hands-on role requires traveling to project locations and coordinating with general contractors, subcontractors, inspectors, and other trades.

Ideal candidates will have extensive commercial pool construction experience, the ability to read plans, and a proven record of directing crews on large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Commercial pool construction experience is required.
• Experience with large-scale commercial or institutional aquatic facilities.
• Proven experience leading a construction crew.
• Hands-on, working-foreman mentality.
• Ability to read construction plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and work alongside crews on commercial pool construction projects.
• Direct daily crew activities and maintain project schedules.
• Read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Coordinate work with general contractors, subcontractors, inspectors, and other trades.
• Perform hands-on construction work and troubleshoot field issues.
• Oversee pool construction activities including excavation, layout, forming, rebar, concrete/shotcrete, plumbing, equipment, finishes, and related work.
• Monitor workmanship, productivity, safety, and jobsite organization.
• Coordinate materials, deliveries, and jobsite needs.
• Communicate daily progress, manpower, material requirements, and issues to project management.
• Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Travel to commercial project locations as required.
