Job summary
gpac is seeking a Commercial Pool Building Foreman to lead field crews on commercial swimming pool and aquatic facility projects. This hands-on role requires travel to project locations and strong experience in pool construction for hotels, resorts, campuses, and municipal facilities.
The successful candidate will read plans, supervise a crew, coordinate with general contractors and inspectors, and ensure safety and quality across sites.
Qualifications
- Commercial pool construction experience is required.
- Experience with large-scale commercial or institutional aquatic facilities preferred.
- Proven experience leading a construction crew.
Responsibilities
- Lead crews on commercial pool construction projects.
- Direct daily crew activities and maintain schedules.
- Read and interpret construction plans and specs.
- Coordinate work with general contractors, subcontractors, inspectors, and other trades.
- Perform hands-on construction work and troubleshoot field issues.
- Oversee pool construction activities including excavation, forming, rebar, concrete, plumbing, finishes.
- Monitor workmanship, productivity, safety, and site organization.
- Communicate progress, manpower, material needs, and issues to management.
- Travel to project locations as required.
