Job summary

The Traveling Superintendent position at Scott Humphrey Corporation will oversee ground-up commercial construction projects across the Midwest. You will lead field teams, coordinate subcontractors, and maintain strict safety and schedule discipline to deliver projects on time and to the required quality.

Job description

A nationally recognized commercial general contractor that is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to support projects throughout the Midwest.

This position will oversee ground-up commercial construction projects ranging from distribution centers and advanced manufacturing facilities to retail developments, healthcare projects, mission-critical facilities, and large industrial builds. Travel is typically focused throughout Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, and surrounding states.

The ideal candidate enjoys being in the field, leading subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within quality expectations. Previous experience working for a commercial general contractor is required.

Candidates with experience managing large-scale commercial, industrial, distribution, manufacturing, mission-critical, or data center projects are especially encouraged to apply.
