Job summary

Life Scan Wellness Centers seeks professionals for full-time or part-time roles based out of Jacksonville, with travel across Florida and throughout the United States. The position involves reviewing medical history, performing ECGs, and creating personalized exercise prescriptions with dietary guidance.

Required B.S. in Exercise Physiology or Exercise Science; ACLS/BLS; strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills; willingness to travel; own vehicle for equipment transport.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Exercise Physiology or Exercise Science is required.
• MS degree preferred.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Strong technical skills: MS Office, imaging software and EMR platforms.
• Professionalism and compassion are essential.
• Must have own vehicle capable of carrying equipment.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history.
• Assess body weight, BMI and BIA body fat percentage.
• Perform a 12-lead resting and exercise ECG with interpretation skills (ECG pre-employment assessment).
• Conduct muscular strength and endurance assessments.
• Conduct flexibility assessments.
• Create customized exercise prescriptions based on exam results.
• Provide dietary recommendations.
• Maintain individualized and detailed charting.
• Other duties as assigned.
