Job summary

Life Scan Wellness Centers is seeking qualified exercise physiology professionals for full-time and part-time roles. Based in Central Florida, the position travels throughout Florida and occasionally out of state to support our prevention-based screenings, physicals, and fitness evaluations for public safety personnel.

Requirements include a B.S. in Exercise Physiology or Exercise Science, ACLS/BLS, and strong communication and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Exercise Physiology or Exercise Science required.
• M.S. preferred.
• ACLS and BLS required.
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Own vehicle capable of carrying equipment.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history.
• Assess body weight, BMI and BIA Body Fat %.
• Prepare and perform a 12-lead resting and exercise ECG with interpretation.
• Perform muscular strength and endurance assessments.
• Perform flexibility assessments.
• Create customized exercise prescriptions based on exam results.
• Include dietary recommendations.
• Individualized and detailed charting.
• Other duties as assigned.
