Job summary

Life Scan Wellness Centers in Central Florida is seeking qualified professionals for both full-time and part-time positions. The role involves travel across the state and some out-of-state assignments to support prevention-based screenings and fitness evaluations for public safety personnel.

Responsibilities include reviewing patient histories, performing ECGs, conducting strength and flexibility assessments, and creating personalized exercise prescriptions with dietary guidance.

Qualifications

• B.S. from an accredited program in Exercise Physiology or Exercise Science is required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history.
• Assess body weight, BMI and body fat percentage.
• Perform 12-lead resting and exercise ECG with interpretation.
• Conduct muscular strength and endurance assessments.
• Conduct flexibility assessments.
• Create customized exercise prescriptions based on exam results.
• Include dietary recommendations.
• Maintain individualized and detailed charting.
• Other duties as assigned.
