Job summary

Life Scan Wellness Centers in the Seattle area is hiring for full-time and part-time roles focused on prevention-based screenings, physicals, and fitness evaluations for firefighters and police officers. You will travel regionally and nationally to designated departments and help save lives.

Requirements include a BS in Exercise Physiology/Exercise Science, MS preferred, ACLS/BLS, strong communication and leadership, and the ability to manage equipment. A vehicle is required.

Qualifications

• BS in Exercise Physiology or Exercise Science from an accredited program.
• MS preferred
• ACLS and BLS required
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Strong technical skills: MS Office, Imaging software, EMR platforms
• Professionalism and compassion a MUST!
• Own vehicle capable of transporting equipment

Responsibilities

• Review patient history
• Assess body weight, BMI and body fat %
• Perform 12-lead resting and exercise ECG with interpretation
• Perform muscular strength and endurance assessments
• Perform flexibility assessments
• Create customized exercise prescriptions based on results
• Include dietary recommendations
• Detailed charting
• Other duties as assigned
