Job summary

WW Clyde in Utah seeks a Traveling Civil Project Manager to lead large earthwork and site development projects on-site, traveling as required. You will partner with the Project Superintendent to drive production, safety, quality, schedule, and cost control.

Reporting to the Area Manager, you will manage client interactions, scheduling, subcontractor relationships, forecasting, and contract administration, with projects potentially including solar farms and BESS sites.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of heavy civil construction project leadership.
• Experience creating and managing schedules and budgets.
• Contract management and negotiation experience.
• Forecasting, change management, and owner communication experience.
• Proficiency with scheduling software (Primavera P6, Procore) and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution from award through closeout, including planning, mobilization, staffing coordination, and project controls setup.
• Build and maintain the project schedule and drive updates and recovery plans as needed.
• Own cost control and forecasting, including monthly projections and budget risk management.
• Manage subcontractor and supplier relationships, procurement coordination, and performance accountability.
• Administer the contract, including RFIs, submittals, correspondence, and documentation discipline.
• Identify, price, and negotiate change orders; communicate changes early.
• Lead project meetings and ensure action items are tracked and completed.
• Coordinate with the Area Manager on decisions, risks, and client strategy.
• Support strong safety culture and environmental compliance.
• Prepare owner-facing documentation and updates; mentor project engineers.
