Job summary

Lemartec Corporation seeks a Project Engineer (Civil) to provide technical engineering information to the Project Manager, Craft Supervisors, and Corporate Functional Managers, ensuring design development and construction comply with all standards, codes, specifications and design instructions.

This traveling position requires up to 100% travel across the United States, supporting projects in multiple states, coordinating field changes, schedules, QA/QC, and project controls with subcontractors

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited university.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in construction is required.
• Prior experience with civil and earth work projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand technical drawings and specifications for industrial construction.
• Prepare field design change requisitions and "as build" drawings, as required.
• Comprehend subcontract language, scope, terms and technical requirements.
• Plan and develop construction work packages for civil and process plant systems.
• Understand detailed project schedules including required predecessors and successors to each activity.
• Understand quality requirements and industry standards for various construction crafts and perform QA/QC duties.
