Job summary

Lemartec, a MasTec company, seeks a Project Engineer (Civil) for a nationwide travel role supporting design development and construction across multiple disciplines. You will provide technical information to project managers and craft supervisors while aiding cost, scheduling, and estimating activities.

The position requires interpreting complex drawings, preparing field design changes, and coordinating subcontractors to meet project schedules.

Qualifications

• BS in an engineering discipline from an accredited university.
• 1–2 years of construction experience.
• Prior experience with civil and earthwork projects preferred.
• Knowledge of design codes and engineering standards; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings and specifications for industrial construction.
• Prepare field design change requisitions and as-built drawings.
• Comprehend subcontract language, scope, terms and technical requirements.
• Plan and develop construction work packages for civil and plant systems.
• Understand detailed project schedules and QA/QC requirements.
• Support Project Controls: cost, scheduling, and estimating.
