Job summary

Lemartec Corporation, a MasTec company, seeks a Project Engineer (Civil) to support design development and construction oversight across multiple disciplines. The role involves traveling up to 100% of the time to support infrastructure projects throughout the US.

You will assist the Project Manager and Craft Supervisors with costing, scheduling, estimating, and subcontract oversight as part of a dynamic field engineering team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• 1–2 years of construction experience.
• Prior experience with civil and earth work projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand technical drawings and specifications for industrial construction.
• Prepare field design change requisitions and as-built drawings.
• Comprehend subcontract language and technical requirements.
• Plan and develop construction work packages for civil and process plant systems.
• Understand detailed project schedules and predecessor/successor relationships.
• Perform QA/QC duties in line with safety standards and the Lemartec Field Engineering Handbook.
