Job summary

Naples Hotel Group in Florida is seeking a travel-based maintenance engineer to support multiple properties, ensuring operational readiness and brand compliance during openings, renovations, or peak periods. You will perform repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems, conduct preventative maintenance, coordinate inspections, and oversee contracted services while staying 24/7 on-call.

This salaried role requires 3–5 years' hospitality engineering experience, strong English

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a hospitality engineering role.
• In-depth knowledge of hotel HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to perform maintenance tasks independently.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Proficiency with mobile devices and Quore (preferred).
• OSHA awareness and preventative maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Travel extensively across our portfolio to offer engineering support during crucial periods.
• Partner with the Director of Corporate Facilities and hotel General Managers to prioritize needs at each property.
• Be available 24/7 for urgent maintenance issues while on assignment.
• Perform and manage repairs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems.
• Quickly resolve guest-impacting issues to maintain service quality.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to adhere to brand and safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and regulations.
• Coordinate inspections and work with safety officials as necessary.
• Support storm preparedness and recovery efforts.
• Maintain and inventory tools and equipment, communicating needs to management.
• Oversee and monitor contracted services to ensure quality and completion.
• Maintain the aesthetic and functional quality of hotel grounds and facilities.
• Utilize the Quore platform for efficient work order management.
• Provide comprehensive updates on work progress and operational risks.
