Job summary

Naples Hotel Group seeks a Maintenance Helper at our Florida location to assist with routine repairs and upkeep across plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and building systems. You will work alongside the Chief Engineer to handle work orders, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs while ensuring guest satisfaction and brand standards.

The ideal candidate communicates clearly, follows safety procedures, and can work weekends or holidays as needed. Prior hotel maintenance is a plus; training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and staff.
• Basic working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, painting and general maintenance repairs.
• Ability to follow written instructions, work orders, and safety procedures accurately.
• Must be reliable, self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the property daily for safety hazards and maintenance concerns.
• Complete routine maintenance tasks across rooms and building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and lighting.
• Maintain landscaping and exteriors as needed, including painting and lawn care.
• Ensure pool maintenance, water clarity, chemical balance, and cleanliness.
• Use the hotel platform to receive, prioritize, and track maintenance tasks.
• Log completed work orders promptly and accurately.
