Qualifications

• Must have high school education or equivalent.
• Two years dietary experience.
• Experience with senior adults or healthcare populations.
• Ability to cook a variety of foods in large quantities.
• ServSafe certification or equivalent food-safety credential.
• Certified Dietary Manager preferred.
• Experience managing multiple culinary locations or traveling to cook.
• Experience with inventory, purchasing, and menu management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach Executive Chefs, Kitchen Managers, and dining teams.
• Maintain consistent culinary standards across locations.
• Support openings, leadership transitions, and staffing turnarounds.
• Ensure meals are nutritious, properly portioned, and served hot.
• Oversee modified diets and allergen-safe meal preparation.
• Provide hands-on cooking and training with kitchen staff.
• Monitor inventory, purchasing, and waste; enforce portion control.
• Promote hospitality-focused dining respecting resident preferences.
• Ensure compliance with health and healthcare dining regulations.
