Job summary

ATANE Engineers, P.C. is seeking motivated Certified Welding Inspectors (CWIs) to support our growing portfolio of infrastructure and bridge projects. This nationwide opportunity requires detail-orientation, self-drive, and commitment to quality assurance in fabrication environments.

Candidates must be willing to travel and work nights and weekends as required. Responsibilities include inspections per AWS D1.1, verifying procedures, and preparing daily reports.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED – Required.
• Current AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) – Required.
• AMPP (formerly NACE) certification – Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural steel welding inspections per AWS D1.1 and project specs.
• Verify compliance with welding procedures and inspector docs.
• Prepare daily inspection reports and maintain documentation.
• Communicate findings to ATANE project team and clients.
• Travel and collaborate with QA staff to meet schedules.
