Job summary

Synagro seeks a motivated driver to transport bio-solids across the Upper Midwest, Monday through Friday with weekends at home. Travel and lodging expenses are covered, and pay is premium based on experience. Tasks include loading/unloading, daily vehicle inspections, and strict adherence to DOT/state regulations.

Role requires a valid CDL (tank endorsement preferred) and a safe driving record. Minimum HS diploma with 3 years roll-off experience preferred; strong communication and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Transport material from client location to processing or disposal site.
• Load and unload material using trucks and/or heavy equipment.
• Perform daily inspections and preventive maintenance on truck/equipment.
• Keep truck clean and log mileage daily.
• Operate equipment safely per company standards.
• Coordinate with Operations Manager; travel across the Upper Midwest.
• Premium pay based on experience; hotel/travel expenses paid by the company.

Job Summary

Seeking a motivated individual to safely transport material from a client’s location to an assigned/approved destination for processing or disposal. Tasks include loading and unloading material utilizing commercial trucks and/or heavy/agricultural equipment in a timely manner. May include tankers and end dump trailers in an off road environment. Comply with all DOT, state, local and in-house regulations, procedures, and rules. Perform daily inspections and preventative maintenance on the truck/equipment. Clean bio‑solids off truck/equipment before leaving the field site or landfill. Complete daily truck log and submit reports of mileage covered at EOD. Operate truck/equipment while maintaining Synagro’s high level of safety standards. Perform shop clean up, maintenance, and equipment/tools setup. Daily communication with the Operations Manager. Travel throughout the Upper Midwest - Monday through Friday - home on weekends! Premium pay based on experience. Hotel/travel expenses paid by the company.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Education / Experience

1. Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
2. Valid Commercial Drivers’ License (CDL) class A with Tanker Endorsement preferred but not required
3. Minimum 3 years roll‑off experience preferred
4. Safe driving record: no serious tickets or accidents in last 5 years or DWI/DUI in last 10 years

2. The worker is subject to varying weather conditions, activities occur inside and outdoors.
3. The worker is subject to atmospheric conditions: One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system or skin: fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.
4. The worker is subject to hazards: Includes a variety of physical conditions such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or bio‑solids.

Hourly Rate $25-$27, based on experience.
