Job summary

DanceBUG is seeking Camera Operators to travel across the United States for dance competitions, using professional camera and livestream gear. Training is provided, with equipment and travel expenses covered.

A season-based role runs February through June, offering paid training and guaranteed minimum daily pay. Requirements include US work authorization (no visa sponsorship), proximity to a major airport, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel Thu–Mon.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States (DanceBUG does not sponsor work visas).
• Live within approximately one hour of a major airport.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Available to travel Thursday through Monday during the season.
• Able to lift approximately 50 lbs.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.

No Dance Experience Required

If you've filmed sports, live events, weddings, concerts, theatre, or other fast-paced productions, we'll teach you everything you need to know.

What You'll Do

• Travel to dance competitions throughout the United States
• Operate professional camera and livestream production equipment
• Capture high-quality performances
• Set up and monitor camera and livestream systems
• Upload and manage event media

Paid Training

Every new Camera Operator receives:

• Virtual training during January
• A minimum of two live training events with an experienced Senior Camera Operator
• Hands-on instruction before working independently

You'll never be sent to your first event without real-world training and support.

Requirements
