Job summary

DanceBUG Inc. is seeking Camera Operators to travel across the United States, filming and streaming dance competitions with professional equipment. You will be trained and supported throughout the season, with travel, flights, hotels, and transportation provided.

Starting at $25/hour, the role offers paid training, guaranteed minimum daily pay, and overtime after 40 hours. No video editing is required, and a private hotel room is provided during travel.

No Dance Experience Required

If you've filmed sports, live events, weddings, concerts, theatre, or other fast-paced productions, we'll teach you everything you need to know.

What You'll Do

• Travel to dance competitions throughout the United States
• Operate professional camera and livestream production equipment
• Capture high-quality performances
• Set up and monitor camera and livestream systems
• Upload and manage event media

Paid Training

Every new Camera Operator receives:

• Virtual training during January
• A minimum of two live training events with an experienced Senior Camera Operator
• Hands-on instruction before working independently

You’ll never be sent to your first event without real-world training and support.

Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in the United States (DanceBUG does not sponsor work visas)
• Live within approximately one hour of a major airport
• Valid U.S. driver's license
• Available to travel Thursday through Monday during the season
• Comfortable driving 5-6 hours when required
• Comfortable with long production days and travel
• Able to lift approximately 50 lbs
• Able to pass a criminal background check
