Job summary

DanceBUG seeks camera operators to travel across the United States capturing dance competitions. You will work with professional camera and livestream production gear and receive paid training before events.

Position includes flights, hotels, rental cars, and travel expenses covered, with guaranteed daily pay and overtime after 40 hours. No video editing required; a valid US driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

Legally allowed to work in the United States.
Able to travel Thu–Mon during season.
Valid U.S. driver’s license.
Able to lift ~50 lbs.
Willing to undergo a background check.

Compensation and Benefits

Starting at $25/hour

What You'll Do

Travel to dance competitions throughout the United States
Operate professional camera and livestream production equipment
Capture high-quality performances
Set up and monitor camera and livestream systems
Upload and manage event media

Paid Training

Every new Camera Operator receives:

Virtual training during January
A minimum of two live training events with an experienced Senior Camera Operator
Hands-on instruction before working independently

You'll never be sent to your first event without real-world training and support.

Requirements

Legally authorized to work in the United States (DanceBUG does not sponsor work visas)
Live within approximately one hour of a major airport
Valid U.S. driver's license
Available to travel Thursday through Monday during the season
Comfortable driving 5-6 hours when required
Comfortable with long production days and travel
Able to lift approximately 50 lbs
Able to pass a criminal background check
