Job summary

Omnicell’s Traveler Automation Pharmacy Technician 4 role requires traveling to hospital sites to operate and optimize advanced automation. You’ll support go-lives, training, and ongoing customer success while ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations.

The ideal candidate has inpatient pharmacy experience, valid CPhT credentials, and can travel 100% to multiple sites nationwide, with strong problem-solving and customer-focused skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA – CPhT/ExCPT).
• Active State Board of Pharmacy Technician License/Registration for state of residence.
• 1+ year inpatient pharmacy experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and REAL ID and/or U.S. passport.
• COVID‑19 vaccination.
• Ability to travel 100%.

Responsibilities

• Travel to hospital customer sites to operate, support, and optimize Omnicell automation technologies.
• Provide backups, go-lives, training, and ongoing customer success.
• Perform daily equipment operation, inspection, cleaning, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
• Manage medication assignments remotely or onsite using Omnicell tools.
• Deliver hands-on customer support and training to drive adoption and long-term success.
• Collaborate with Professional Services and project teams for smooth implementations.
• Act as a subject matter expert for Omnicell automation onsite.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations, credentialing, policies, and travel guidelines.
