Job summary

Omnicell is seeking a Traveler Automation Pharmacy Technician 4 to travel to hospital sites, operate and optimize Omnicell automation technologies such as i.v.STATION, IVX Station, XR2, PakPlus, and ADCs. You will support go-lives, training, and ongoing customer success while ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations.

A strong inpatient pharmacy background and active PTCB/NHA certification are required, with demonstrated travel readiness and excellent problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED
• Active PTCB/NHA CPhT/ExCPT certification
• Active State Board license/registration for residence state
• 1+ year inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and REAL ID or U.S. passport
• COVID-19 vaccination
• Ability to travel 100%

Responsibilities

• Travel to hospital sites to operate, support, and optimize Omnicell automation technologies (i.v.STATION, IVX Station & Workflow, XR2, PakPlus, ADCs)
• Support hospital sites during go-lives and implementations, including medication assignment and inventory staging
• Perform daily equipment operation, inspection, cleaning, maintenance, and troubleshooting per SOPs
• Manage medication assignments remotely or onsite using Omnicell tools
• Provide hands-on training to drive adoption and customer success
• Collaborate with Professional Services and project teams for smooth implementations
• Act as SME for Omnicell automation onsite
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and travel guidelines
