Job summary
Omnicell is seeking a Traveler Automation Pharmacy Technician 4 to travel nationwide and operate, support, and optimize Omnicell’s advanced pharmacy automation technologies at hospital sites. You’ll back up, go-lives, training, and ongoing customer success while supporting the Autonomous Pharmacy.
Ideal candidates are experienced inpatient or CPhT technicians who enjoy travel, technology, and impactful patient care.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA – CPhT/ExCPT) required.
- Active State Board of Pharmacy Technician License/Registration for state of residence required.
- 1+ year inpatient pharmacy experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license, REAL ID or passport, and ability to travel 100%.
Responsibilities
- Travel to hospital customer sites to operate, support, and optimize Omnicell automation technologies.
- Support hospital sites during backups, go-lives, and training for customer success.
- Perform daily equipment operation, inspection, cleaning, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
- Manage medication assignments remotely or onsite using Omnicell tools.
- Deliver hands-on customer support and training to drive adoption and long-term success.
- Collaborate with Professional Services and project teams for smooth implementations.
- Act as SME for Omnicell automation onsite.
