Job summary

ExcelHealth Group is seeking a full-time Traveling Audiologist to deliver high-quality hearing care in long-term care and skilled nursing facilities across Texas. You will work independently with support from a scheduling team to provide evaluations, fittings, and ongoing care for residents with diverse hearing needs.

Ideal candidates hold an AuD or state licensure, are comfortable with travel, and are committed to patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Audiology degree or state-approved credential required for licensure.
• Valid audiology license or ability to obtain before starting.
• Experience with hearing evaluations, otoscopy, and hearing aid fitting preferred.
• Willingness to travel statewide in Texas and manage mobile workflow.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and support treatment of hearing conditions in long-term care facilities.
• Conduct otoscopic exams, screenings, and diagnostic evaluations using mobile equipment.
• Recommend care plans, follow-up, referrals, and communication support.
• Dispense, program, adjust, maintain, and repair hearing aids as applicable.
• Maintain accurate documentation and coordinate with scheduling teams.
• Represent ExcelHealth Group professionally with residents and facility staff.
