Job summary

The Ravin Group is seeking a strong, field-focused Construction Assistant Superintendent to support on-site operations for a large multifamily construction project in Evansville, Indiana. You will work closely with the Superintendent to coordinate daily field activities, safety, quality, and schedule progress.

The role requires 5+ years of field experience on multifamily or large-scale projects, expertise in wood-frame construction, and a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field, or equivalent hands-on field experience.
• 5+ years of field experience on multifamily or large-scale construction projects (projects $50M+ preferred).
• Strong knowledge of wood-frame construction and multifamily sequencing.
• Safety-focused mindset with working knowledge of OSHA standards.
• Experience creating, tracking, and closing punch lists.
• Familiarity with Procore or similar construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Support daily field operations on multifamily job sites, with emphasis on wood-frame construction.
• Assist with subcontractor coordination, site logistics, and work sequencing.
• Help enforce jobsite safety standards, conduct safety walks, and support a strong safety culture.
• Monitor quality control and assist with inspections and punch list completion.
• Identify field issues and communicate solutions to the project team.
• Assist with site documentation, reporting, and coordination using Procore or similar software.
