Job summary

ARCO/Murray National Construction seeks a Traveling Assistant Superintendent with 3-5 years of on-site supervision, to lead interior buildouts, framing, finish carpentry, and specialty installations. You will supervise self-perform crews, coordinate with subcontractors, and partner with project managers to deliver high-quality, safety-minded projects.

Role requires travel to sites, strong math skills, and the ability to lift 50+ pounds.

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license.
High school diploma or equivalent.
3-5 years of supervisory on-site experience on ground-up or large-scale renovation projects.
Strong mathematical skills for measurements & calculations.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds & work in various weather conditions.
Ability to travel as needed.
OSHA construction safety certification preferred.
Ability to read & interpret construction plans & blueprints.
Excellent teamwork & communication skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of project tasks from start to completion.
Interpret and analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to ensure accurate implementation.
Regional travel to projects to be on-site as needed.
Ensure that projects are completed efficiently while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and worker safety.
Identify and resolve construction-related problems efficiently.
Advanced proficiency in tool usage and safety practices.
