Job summary

ARCO/Murray National Construction seeks a Traveling Assistant Superintendent with 3-5 years of on-site supervision, to lead interior buildouts, framing, finish carpentry, and specialty installations. You will supervise self-perform crews, coordinate with subcontractors, and partner with project managers to deliver high-quality, safety-minded projects.

Role requires travel to sites, strong math skills, and the ability to lift 50+ pounds.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of supervisory on-site experience on ground-up or large-scale renovation projects.
• Strong mathematical skills for measurements & calculations.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds & work in various weather conditions.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• OSHA construction safety certification preferred.
• Ability to read & interpret construction plans & blueprints.
• Excellent teamwork & communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of project tasks from start to completion.
• Interpret and analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to ensure accurate implementation.
• Regional travel to projects to be on-site as needed.
• Ensure that projects are completed efficiently while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and worker safety.
• Identify and resolve construction-related problems efficiently.
• Advanced proficiency in tool usage and safety practices.
