NexGen Contracting, the self-perform arm of Gray, seeks an Assistant Superintendent for its Special Projects Division. This travel role supports turnkey project scopes across locations, coordinating safety, field operations, and supervision with a team of craftsmen.

Based in Franklin, TN, the role requires eight years in construction and strong reporting, scheduling, and cost-tracking skills to help deliver complex projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Eight years’ experience in the construction industry.
• At least four years of experience in construction.
• Ability to identify critical elements of a situation and extract implications for action.
• Effective planning, scheduling, and motivating subordinates.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Project safety compliance.
• Job cost spread and estimate familiarity.
• Participation in project sequencing and scheduling.
• Project quantity/progress tracking.
• Production analysis/tracking.
• Change order request issuance/tracking.
• Coordination with GC/Owner.
• Maintain a tool log and inventory control.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
