Northern Clearing Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager and Superintendent on right-of-way clearing projects in the region.

The role involves setting up field offices, tracking change orders and hours, managing site logistics, equipment and material tracking, and ensuring compliance with client requirements. Occasional travel within Wisconsin and Michigan is required; typical schedules align with project needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in office management or administrative leadership.
• Familiar with project tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
• Professional degree or diploma is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
• Proficient with computers and common office software.
• Proficient in Word and Excel for reporting and tracking.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain a field construction office.
• Change order tracking and project-related contract administration.
• Submit and track project hours, timekeeping, inventory, and progress logs.
• Equipment, fuel, and materials tracking.
• 811 / One Call ticket management.
• Code and collect receipts from crew members.
• Ensure compliance with all company and client expectations.
• Travel within Wisconsin and Michigan for site visits and project kickoffs.
