Job summary

Northern Clearing Inc., a leader in right-of-way clearing, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager. You will support the Project Manager and Superintendent with tasks for successful project completion, set up and maintain a field construction office, and manage change orders and contract administration.

This role requires travel within Wisconsin and Michigan, typically six 10-hour days per week, with specifics discussed in the interview process.

Qualifications

• Experience in office management and coordinating project tasks.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel; familiar with project tools (MS Project/Primavera).

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain a field construction office.
• Track change orders and project-related contract administration.
• Submit and track hours, timekeeping records, and site reports.
• Track equipment, fuel and materials.
• Manage 811 / One Call tickets.
• Code receipts from crew members and ensure compliance with company/client expectations.
