Job summary

Aptitude is seeking a Superintendent 2 to manage complex low voltage construction projects and coordinate with trade partners. You will drive scheduling, budgeting, safety, and quality across the project lifecycle, reporting to Aptitude leadership and coordinating with JE Dunn teams.

5+ years of LV system experience, strong communication, and ability to travel 100% are required. This role emphasizes safety, performance, and collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of low voltage technology systems including cabling, access control, video surveillance, fire alarm, AV, building automation, nurse call.
• 5+ years construction experience in related systems.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred and relevant certifications welcome.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and ensure an injury-free environment.
• Manage low voltage subcontractors and suppliers for multiple trades.
• Coordinate design and construction efforts to meet standards and budgets.
• Develop work plans and manage project schedules and costs.
• Ensure quality compliance through QA/QC and field reporting.
