Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Charlotte, NC seeks an Aptitude Superintendent 2 to lead complex low voltage projects and manage Aptitude trade partners. The role focuses on construction sequencing, safety, and achieving timely, profitable project completion.

You will coordinate with owners, design teams, and subcontractors, develop work plans, monitor budgets and schedules, and support project closeouts. Travel up to 100% is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred.
• Relevant experience may replace formal education.
• 5+ years construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and mentors staff toward an injury-free environment.
• Manages client and project team communications and issue escalation for low voltage scopes.
• Coordinates design and construction efforts meeting standards and budgets.
• Oversees low voltage subcontractors, supplies, and QA/QC processes.
• Develops work plans, manages schedules, and tracks project costs and hours.
