Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking an Ammonia Refrigeration Operator 1 for a contracted travel assignment. You’ll operate and monitor ammonia systems at client facilities across the United States, logging data and supporting maintenance.

This role requires 2+ years in refrigeration, Ammonia Operator 1 certification, a high school diploma, and willingness to travel 100%. Competitive hourly pay and per diem provided.

Qualifications

• Ammonia certification required; 2+ years refrigeration experience.
• High school diploma or GED; valid driver's license.
• Strong reading of schematics and safe work practices.
• Willingness to travel 100% to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor ammonia systems and safety devices.
• Maintain boilers, pumps, valves, and air compressors.
• Adjust process variables to meet output and safety standards.
• Support preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Record data and report anomalies to supervisors.
