Job summary

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. seeks a traveling Service Technician to repair, maintain, and support industrial refrigeration equipment across North America. A strong knowledge of ammonia/Freon systems and electrical controls is required.

The role uses a 10‑day tour, typically 50–60 hours per week, with nationwide travel on a rotating schedule. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, Universal EPA certification, and preferably RETA 1&2.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• HVAC tech school and EPA certification are preferred.
• RETA 1&2 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain industrial refrigeration equipment for food and beverage and refrigerated storage.
• Perform routine and emergency service on ammonia and Freon systems.
• Troubleshoot controls and electric (high and low voltage) across central systems.
• Follow safety policies and procedures on every job site.
• Travel nationwide on a 10 days on, 4 days off tour schedule.
