Tiello LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician (Refrigeration) to perform service, maintenance, and repairs on ammonia and Freon-based industrial refrigeration systems across Ohio. The role requires hands-on experience with industrial ammonia systems and the ability to travel daily, including nights and weekends when needed.

Ideal candidates will have strong knowledge of compressors, electrical diagnostics, and control systems, with a commitment to customer service in the field.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on field experience with industrial ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and compressor control systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across refrigeration, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, manuals, and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, maintenance, and repairs on ammonia and Freon-based industrial refrigeration systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving compressors, electrical systems, and alarm/control systems.
• Deliver diagnostics and hands-on repairs on complex refrigeration systems in food, beverage, and cold storage environments.
• Respond to routine and emergency service calls with professionalism and urgency.
• Maintain a clean, organized work truck and inventory of tools and parts.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies on-site and while traveling.
• Complete service reports, document findings, and communicate recommendations to clients and team members.
