Job summary

Sunrise Telecom Inc. in Missouri is seeking an Aerial Foreman (Traveling) to supervise strand infrastructure and lash installations. You will operate bucket trucks and related equipment while guiding crews to complete work safely and efficiently in field conditions.

You will set up the job, manage equipment and supplies, maintain clearances from utilities and roadways, and supervise fiber cable lash. Climbing poles with gaffs or ladders and OSHA safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or its equivalent.
• Combination of technical training and/ or experience.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass drug, background, DOT & MVR screenings.

Responsibilities

• Operate bucket truck and other equipment related to aerial fiber construction.
• Set up the job using strand trailer, fiber trailer, and caddies.
• Maintain required clearances from utilities and roadways.
• Frame poles to industry specifications.
• Supervise lash/over-lash of fiber cable bundles.
• Safely climb poles using gaffs or ladders.
• Follow OSHA safety requirements to complete work safely.
• Communicate by phone throughout the workday.
• Demonstrate leadership and ability to teach and train.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
