Job summary

You must have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year in construction, and a valid driver’s license. Safety and team communication are essential as you work with crew leaders and comply with OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a combination of technical training or experience.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in construction or related fields.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements and work nights/weekends if required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass drug, background, DOT & MVR screenings.

Responsibilities

• Construct strand infrastructure and lash fiber cables to strand.
• Operate bucket truck and other equipment related to aerial fiber construction.
• Set up job locations (strand trailer, fiber trailer, caddies) and verify clearances near utilities, roads, and sidewalks.
• Frame poles according to industry specifications and lash cable bundles.
• Read and interpret network prints; communicate with crew leader and team.
• Safely climb poles using gaffs or ladders and follow OSHA safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
