Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services in Eatontown, NJ is seeking a Team Member to deliver outstanding customer service, handle payments at the POS, help prepare and serve food, and maintain a clean, stocked, and efficient plaza environment for travelers.

The role involves standing for long periods, assisting customers, and supporting kitchen tasks while adhering to food safety standards. A flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to interact with customers and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to travelers and guests.
• Operate POS system, process payments accurately, and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen-related tasks such as prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging and cleaning.
• Stock, clean and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of products and services available in the plaza.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and company policies.
