Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services in Matawan, NJ is seeking a friendly Team Member to deliver exceptional customer service, stock and maintain the storefront, process payments, and help prepare and serve fresh food to travelers.

You must be flexible to work days, nights, weekends and holidays. The role offers training, meal discounts, and other employee benefits as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service by engaging with travelers.
• Operate the POS system, process payments accurately, and follow all policies.
• Ensure proper food handling including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperatures.
• Perform kitchen tasks such as prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and company policies.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
