Job summary

Omnicell, Inc. seeks a Traveler Automation Pharmacy Technician 4 to travel to hospital sites, operate and optimize automation technologies, and support go-lives and training. This role focuses on hands-on support and customer success across multiple Omnicell systems.

Ideal candidates have inpatient pharmacy experience, an active CPhT license, driving eligibility, and willingness to travel extensively, including weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA – CPhT/ExCPT).
• Active State Board of Pharmacy Technician License/Registration for state of residence.
• 1+ year inpatient pharmacy experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and REAL ID or U.S. passport.
• COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Travel to hospital customer sites to operate and optimize Omnicell automation technologies.
• Support go-lives, training, and hands-on customer assistance.
• Perform daily equipment operation, inspection, cleaning, maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Manage medication assignments remotely or onsite to ensure accurate setup.
• Deliver hands-on customer support and drive adoption and long-term success.
• Collaborate with Professional Services and project teams to ensure successful implementations.
