Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer specializing in Maternal Fetal Medicine. Requires ARDMS OB/GYN certification and 2+ years of MFM experience.

Responsibilities include working in a Maternal Fetal Medicine unit with potential travel to a second location, 5x8 hour day shifts, 1:1 patient ratio, and performing fetal surveys across all trimesters using GE equipment.

Qualifications

• ARDMS OB/GYN certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years of Maternal Fetal Medicine experience, with recent work.
• Active state license required, if applicable.
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccination required with no exemptions.
• EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maternal Fetal Medicine unit, primarily stationed at one hospital with possible travel to a second location.
• 5x8 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• 1:1 patient ratio.
• Performs fetal anatomical surveys, amniotic fluid index, nuchal translucency screens, umbilical cord Doppler, and multiple pregnancy assessments across all trimesters.
• Evaluates fetal anatomy including abdomen, head, heart, cerebellum, ventricles, diaphragm, and bone lengths.
• Uses GE ultrasound equipment.
• May be required to float among five designated hospitals based on staffing needs.
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position.
• Does not offer a local rate.
• Candidates living within 50 miles of their primary facility are subject to the local rate.
• RTO must be submitted at time of consideration; requests submitted afterward will not be accepted.
• No RTO permitted during the first week of the assignment.
• Block scheduling is not permitted.
• Travel pairs are not accepted; candidates must be considered individually.
