American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer to join a Maternal Fetal Medicine unit in a large teaching hospital. ARDMS OB/GYN credentialing and 2+ years of experience are required.

The role performs comprehensive fetal anatomy scans, OB follow-up workups, BPPs, and Doppler studies within Epic EMR, on 8-hour day shifts across a 40-hour week, with weekend coverage as needed. Local candidates encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience in a large teaching hospital.
• Fetal anatomy scans, OB follow-up, BPP, dopplers and OB sonography.
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Maternal Fetal Medicine unit within a large Level 1 trauma facility (579 beds) across two campus sites.
• See up to 8 patients per day (twin pregnancies counted as two).
• 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week with weekends as needed.
• Schedule runs Monday through Sunday with no block scheduling.
• Uses Epic EMR and participates in bi-weekly orientations.

Requirements

• ARDMS registration with OB/GYN credential required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• Large, teaching hospital experience required
• Experience performing fetal anatomy scans (routine and detailed), follow-up OB, BPP, umbilical and MCA dopplers, 1st trimester scans, pelvic scans, sonohystogram, and HyCoSy required
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required
• License required if applicable

Responsibilities

• Maternal Fetal Medicine unit within a large Level 1 trauma facility (579 beds) with 2 sites on campus
• Patient population includes OB/GYN, midwifery, REI, and MFM cases
• Sees up to 8 patients per day (4 in the morning, 4 in the afternoon); twin pregnancy scans count as two patients
• Weekends as needed
• 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
• Schedule runs Monday through Sunday with no block scheduling
• Uses Epic EMR
• Bi-weekly orientations held on Mondays
• Candidates without breast imaging experience will be considered; those focused solely on GYN/early dating OB scans may also be considered if not proficient in full MFM scanning
• Reliable personal transportation strongly recommended, as public transportation is not accessible in the area
• Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November through April
