Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Maternal-Fetal Medicine Ultrasound Technologist with 2–3 years of OB experience and ARDMS OB/GYN certification to perform high-risk pregnancy imaging. You will work in an outpatient MFM setting, performing NT scans, first trimester scans, biophysical profiles, and detailed level II scans using GE equipment.

The role includes a 5x8 hour day shift schedule (7:45 AM–4:45 PM), requires Epic EMR proficiency, and permits travel assignments with housing and licensure

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of OB ultrasound experience (2 years acceptable with relevant OB background).
• Current BLS certification required.
• ARDMS OB/GYN certification required, ARDMS FE certification preferred.
• CA license required if applicable.
• Prior travel assignment experience required.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient Maternal-Fetal Medicine setting focused on high-risk pregnancies from 1st to 3rd trimester.
• Performs NT scans, 1st trimester scans, biophysical profiles, detailed level II scans, twin/triplet scans, umbilical artery doppler, middle cerebral artery doppler, and transvaginal scans.
• Patient ratio of 1:9.
• Uses GE ultrasound equipment.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• 5x8 hour day shifts from 7:45 AM to 4:45 PM with variable days.
• Performs routine and specialized sonography procedures to support diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of high-risk pregnancies.
• Local candidates accepted at local rate within a 50-mile radius.
• Returning staff/travelers must have a 1-year separation before returning.
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract.
• Only one holiday may be requested off per contract, with holidays including New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
• Candidates may only apply to one facility within the health system at a time.
