Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with at least 1 year of experience and current Epic EMR proficiency. The role involves vascular ultrasound in adult acute care and outpatient settings, with 4x10 hour shifts and rotating weekends.

Qualifications include an associate degree in sonography, vascular certification if not dual-certified, BLS, and Epic EMR experience. Travel and housing support are provided by the agency.

• Associate degree and graduate of a formal sonography program required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in vascular sonography, dual certification in vascular and echo preferred
• Vascular certification required if only single specialty certified (echo-only candidates not considered)
• BLS and National Certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Epic EMR required
• License required if applicable
• Proficiency with isolation precautions and PPE protocols

Responsibilities

• Vascular ultrasound sonography in adult acute care and outpatient settings
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Rotating weekends every 4th weekend
• No call requirements
• Community hospital experience preferred
• May be required to float to other units or campuses within the health system based on census needs, limited to competencies already demonstrated
• Orientation held every Monday with annual compliance training required
• First-time travelers may be considered
