Zusammenfassung

American Traveler is seeking a Cardiovascular Sonographer with 2+ years of echocardiography experience to perform outpatient cardiac ultrasound in our outpatient clinic.

This role supports a M-F day schedule (8:00am-4:30pm), 40 hours per week, and uses Epic EMR and advanced imaging techniques. You will perform pre- and post-procedure assessments, manage equipment, and contribute to patient care and education.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 2 years current Cardiovascular Sonographer/Echocardiographer experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• RDCS certification through ARDMS, or RCS, ACS, or RCCS certification through CCI required.
• Accredited Associate's Degree in Sonography, Radiology or related field, or completion of a 12-month ultrasound program required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Stress echo experience preferred.
• License required if applicable.

Aufgaben

• Outpatient clinic setting performing cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography)
• M-F day shift, 8:00am-4:30pm
• 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week
• No on-call, weekend, or holiday requirements
• Uses Epic EMR
• Perform pre- and post-procedure patient assessment and care, including emergency cardiac care (CPR)
• Assist with post-procedure patient transport as needed
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment, including daily quality assurance monitoring
• Generate ultrasound images of cardiac and vascular structures
• May provide staff training and education
• Monitor and record patient information, maintain report storage and data systems, and handle charge entry
• Prepare procedure rooms and equipment for daily use between procedures
