American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer for an evening shift assignment in Missouri. The role requires an ARDMS registry and at least 1 year of sonography experience.

This travel-friendly assignment works with Mercy and uses EPIC EMR. The position entails diagnostic sonography, radiologist-supported interventional procedures, and a patient-centered approach aligned with Mercy's mission and standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold at least 1 applicable ARDMS registry (abdomen certification preferred)
• License required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in sonography
• Graduate of an accredited school of sonography with completed required clinical hours
• Flu vaccination or Mercy-approved exemption required for all travelers from November 1 to April 1

Responsibilities

• Sonography/Ultrasound department performing diagnostic sonograms for radiologist interpretation
• Assist radiologist in performance of interventional ultrasound-guided procedures
• Evening shift 5x8, Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• No call, no weekends, no holidays required
• Uses EPIC EMR
• Provide patient care consistent with Mercy's mission, values, and service standards
• Black scrub color required
• Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed, must be made up during the assignment
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced bill rate
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before requiring a 1-year separation or transfer to a facility outside the radius
