Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 12-week Florida assignment, with a day shift on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. ARDMS(RDMS) or ARRT(S) certification is required, along with BLS and state radiographer licensure if applicable.

The role focuses on hospital-based imaging, abdominal, pelvic, and transvaginal sonography, plus ultrasound-guided procedures, with housing support and travel reimbursements available.

Qualifications

ARDMS RDMS or ARRT(S) certification required.
State license as a general radiographer required if applicable.
Minimum 1 year of ultrasound experience.
BLS certification required.
Graduate of an AMA-accredited school.

Responsibilities

Hospital-based radiology/ultrasound department serving inpatient and outpatient populations.
Abdominal, pelvic (gynecological and obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms.
Proficient in scanning small parts including thyroid, breast, and scrotum.
Performs ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations.
Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays.
13-week assignment.
Provides timely diagnostic services under the direction of a radiologist and departmental protocols.
Candidates must secure housing within 50 miles of the facility prior to acceptance and provide the address.
AHCA fingerprinting clearance required prior to start for all Florida travelers.
Local candidates within a 50-mile radius will not be considered.
Previous CHS perm staff are not eligible if employed within the past 2 years.
RTO requests must be less than one week.
