Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist for our outpatient Perinatal Diagnostic Program. The role requires a minimum of 2 years in OB/GYN sonography and RDMS OB/GYN certification, with a Florida license if applicable.

The position is weekdays in a busy maternal-fetal medicine setting, using Epic (Radiant) EMR. The candidate will work with an MFM provider, enjoy a 8-hour day schedule, and benefit from housing and licensure support.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient clinic specializing in obstetric and gynecologic imaging.

• Uses Epic (Radiant) EMR for imaging records.
• Mon-Fri, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, with early Friday hours 7:30 AM–1:00 PM.
• No weekend, on-call, or holiday requirements.
• No rotating or self-scheduling.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience and 2 years of OB/GYN sonography experience required
• RDMS certification (OB/GYN) required
• Fetal Echo certification preferred but not required
• Epic (Radiant) EMR experience preferred
• Florida license required if applicable
• Experience working with all age groups in obstetric and gynecologic imaging

Responsibilities

• Outpatient clinic specializing in high-risk and low-risk obstetric and gynecologic imaging
• Patient population includes obstetrics (low and high risk) and gynecology cases across all age groups
• 6 exam rooms/suites with a daily patient volume of 8 to 10 patients per sonographer
• Uses Epic (Radiant) EMR
• Monday through Friday schedule, 8-hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with early Friday hours from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM
• No weekend, on-call, or holiday requirements
• No rotating schedule or self-scheduling
• Perform obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound imaging in a busy maternal-fetal medicine environment
• Work alongside a Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) provider who will also interview candidates
• Unit Manager interview required as part of the hiring process
• 3 days of unit orientation provided
• 50-mile radius rule applies for this position
• Accepts local candidates
• First-time travelers are not considered for this role
• Gray scrub color required with closed-toe, non-permeable shoes and minimal jewelry
• Professional and well-maintained hair/beard required, minimal nail polish with no chipping allowed
• Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening may take up to 14 business days to process
• Seasonal influenza vaccination required, with medical exemption requests allowed for the 2026-2027 season via UF Health Vaccine Exemption Request form
