Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role requires ARDMS certification and BLS, with state licensing as needed.

Working 40 hours per week on a night shift, you will support Radiologists and educate patients about procedures. Ideal candidates have 1 year of ultrasound experience and are prepared to perform scans, document results, and maintain equipment while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• 1 year of ultrasound experience required.
• BLS and ARDMS (RDMS AB) certification required.
• State licensing as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and family regarding procedures.
• Operate ultrasound equipment to identify areas of concern.
• Prepare exam room and assist Radiologists with ultrasound procedures.
• Report abnormalities to medical staff.
• Maintain sonography equipment and record results.
