Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Charlotte, NC. The role requires 1 year of Rad Tech experience, BLS and ARRT(R) certification, and state licensing as needed.

Duties include performing diagnostic imaging, patient preparation, and ensuring image accuracy for physician interpretation. Responsibilities cover patient safety, equipment calibration, PACS usage, and precise record-keeping.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Rad Tech experience required.
• Must have BLS and ARRT (R) certification and state licensing when required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and explain imaging procedures to patients.
• Follow physician orders on imaging areas.
• Position patient and adjust imaging equipment.
• Minimize radiation exposure with protective measures.
• Calibrate imaging equipment.
• Prepare results for physician review.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use McKesson PACS system.
